Other sizes available.Vac-andcook bags resists in:- water or steam up to 120ºC + 24h.- microwave and freezer up to -40ºC / -104ºF.All bags are marked with the quality stamp "COOKING 120ºC/248°F" to easily distinguish them from preserving bags or other brands.Why is it important to choose special bags for low temperature cooking?Conservation bags degrade with time and exposure to certain temperatures; for example, they last about 2 hours if exposed at 41°C to 70°C, and last a maximum of 15 minutes at temperatures between 71°C - 100°C. These times are totally insufficient for cooking or pasteurisation, and if used for that purpose, they can transmit toxic traces and components to the food.On the contrary, Vac-andcook bags withstand cooking in water or steam up to 120°C / 248°F for more than 24 hours.All plastic components are BPA-free and have the certificates and technical data sheets that certify their quality in each production and product batch.
